Convertible

I favour Nissan/Datsun above all other Japanese car makers, but when I see things like this, I doubt my enthusiasm:

Really? The 370Z (like too many modern sports cars) has enough of a problem with its hunched-up, ass-heavy profile, but for some reason the sportster version makes it look even bulkier, like a fully-suited astronaut without his space helmet. Maybe it looks better with the top down; still, there's a gracelessness to contemporary convertible design that makes me think car designers are trying to reinvent the wheel by starting with a Tupperware bin.
